Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Aisha Kamara is the trailblazing CEO of Apex AgriTech. Growing up in an agricultural community, Aisha saw farmers struggle with inefficiency and unpredictable weather. Determined to help, she pursued a degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Ibadan and later earned a master’s in Data Analytics from the University of Leeds.
In 2014, Aisha founded Apex AgriTech, focusing on smart farming solutions. Her flagship product, CropSense, uses IoT sensors to provide real-time data on soil health and weather patterns, increasing crop yields by up to 30%.
Aisha faced challenges in gaining the trust of traditional farmers, but her technology’s results soon spoke for themselves. Today, Apex AgriTech partners with over 50,000 farmers across Africa.
Passionate about empowering others, Aisha invests in youth entrepreneurship programs and advocates for women in tech. She believes, “Empowering communities starts with giving them the right tools.”
