Priya Kapoor, founder and CEO of EduPro Next, was born in Mumbai, India. Growing up in a middle-class family, Priya was deeply influenced by her mother, a schoolteacher who believed in the transformative power of education.
Priya graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology with a degree in Computer Science and later earned her MBA from Harvard. While working at a tech giant in the U.S., Priya noticed the gap in personalized education solutions for developing countries. This motivated her to return to India and launch EduPro Next in 2016.
Her platform leverages AI to provide tailored learning experiences for students in rural areas. Despite early funding challenges, Priya’s persistence secured partnerships with NGOs and government bodies. Today, EduPro Next serves over 2 million students across India and Africa.
Priya’s mission extends beyond her company. She actively supports girls’ education initiatives and dreams of a world where quality education is accessible to all. “Every child deserves a chance to learn and thrive,” she says.
